Use great quality products:

If you are going to be practicing on a mannequin or even working with a client for the first time, don’t be intimidated to get better quality lashes. As soon as you can start booking clients, make sure that you are using the best quality of materials and practicing often. The only way that you’ll become a better lash artist is by booking clients or finding willing volunteers like friends or family to practice on.

Find a mentor:

It’s very helpful if you can learn from someone that’s been in the industry for years. If you have a trainer that offers ongoing refresher courses this can be an investment that’s completely worthwhile. If you know someone else that’s in the industry offering lash classes, you can often sit in on their sessions and regularly practice with them if they offer that service.
